Welcome to the Home Page for the US Technical Advisory Group for ISO / IEC Joint Technical Committee 1, Information Technology - otherwise simply known as the JTC 1 TAG.

The JTC 1 TAG was established in 1988 by the U.S National Body member of JTC 1 (ANSI) to serve as the U.S TAG to JTC 1. The primary responsibilities of the JTC 1 TAG are to:

• Coordinate the development for JTC 1 level U.S. positions
• Coordinate U.S. interests and develop consensus
