The JTC 1 TAG Announces
the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 of a New Work Item Proposal
on
Standardization of High Coercivity, High Density Recording of
Magnetic Stripe ID Cards - Additional Part to ISO/IEC 7811 Series
Washington D.C., April 2000 -- JTC 1 TAG (U.S. TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information Technology) announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 of a New Work Item Proposal on Standardization of High Coercivity, High Density Recording of Magnetic Stripe ID Cards - Additional Part to ISO/IEC 7811 Series.
The JTC 1 TAG is soliciting comments from the U.S. community on the submission of this proposed New Work Item.
The announcement period extends from May 19, 2000, through June 20,
2000.
