The JTC 1 TAG Announces
the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Approval as a New Work Item Proposal, IEEE Project P1003.21 -
Washington D.C., June 1998 -- JTC 1 TAG (U.S. TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information Technology) announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Approval as a New Work Item Proposal, IEEE Project P1003.21, "Realtime Distributed Systems Communication Application Program Interface (API) [Language- Independent}, {C Language], and [Ada Language]".
The standard was approved by the IEEE Standards Board on June 14, 1995. The JTC 1 TAG is soliciting comments from the U.S. community on the appropriateness of the submission of this standard for Fast- Track processing in JTC 1.
The announcement period extends from July 3, 1998 through August 6, 1998.
